KCRA 3 Weather Report

Runners, volunteers and spectators can expect a DRY CIM on Sunday. Expect patchy fog in the morning along the course temperatures will likely start out in the low 50s. Patchy fog will likely be along the entire course route and may produce drizzle or mist. Temps will warm into the 60’s for the afternoon.

As a runner myself, conditions for the race may be good enough to set a new PR. As conditions may change, download the KCRA 3 weather app. As we get closer to race day you and your family can check conditions with the hourly forecast. Have a great race!

Tamara Berg is the morning meteorologist for KCRA & KQCA TV in Sacramento. Berg is also an avid runner with 1 CIM under her belt and 8 other marathons. Forecasting has been her passion since she was in grade school. She’s worked in television for 10 years now and enjoys being in the weather as much as forecasting storms. Berg holds a degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Berg also looks forward to running her 2nd CIM on Sunday.
