Due to its excellent race organization and fast course, the California International Marathon has always been a favorite event for first time marathoners, fitness runners, and especially for runners seeking a PR, a Boston Marathon or Olympic Marathon Trials qualifying standard.
In 2013, entries filled in early August, so enter early to avoid disappointment.
Marathon Entry Fees:

$100: March 1 – March 15 at 11:59 pm PT $125: March 16 – June 1 at 11:59 pm PT $150: June 2 – Until registration cap is reached
- Limited number of CHARITY slots $275. ($125 of this is tax deductible and supports SRA Giving initiatives)
- $150: October 1 – October 15 by 11:59 pm PT (These entries are available only to, and guaranteed for, registrants who achieve the appropriate CIM qualifying standard. Please see additional information below.)

Guaranteed Late Entries:
If you wish to delay entering until between October 1 to October 15, you will be guaranteed an entry if you have achieved the appropriate age division finish time within the last 2 years. Learn more: Guaranteed Entry Information.
No refunds. No transfers. No deferrals. No exceptions. Once you have completed the registration process you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else, and you may not defer your entry fee to a future race.
