Due to its excellent race organization and fast course, the California International Marathon has always been a favorite event for first time marathoners, fitness runners, and especially for runners seeking a PR, a Boston Marathon or Olympic Marathon Trials qualifying standard.
In 2015, entries filled in early September, so enter early to avoid disappointment.

- Early Registration: $125 (1,501st registrant through May 18)
- Standard Registration: $139 (May 19 through July 13)
- Late Registration: $150 (July 14 to race sell-out)
After sell-out a limited number of charity entries will become available at $275. Proceeds from charity entries will go directly to SRA Community Giving initiatives.
If you wish to delay entering until between October 1 to October 15, you will be guaranteed an entry if you have achieved the appropriate age division finish time within the last 2 years. Learn more: Guaranteed Entry Information. Guaranteed Entries are $175.
Already registered for this year’s marathon but unable to run? Take advantage of our new deferral option to roll over your registration to 2017!
The deferral window will be open from October 31 – November 14. During that time, any registrants who are unable to run this year’s marathon will be able to enter their info to defer their entry to the 2016 CIM entry to the 2017 race. A $49 fee will be charged to cover costs already incurred and the administration of this program. For more information please click here.
There are no refunds or transfers. Once you have completed the registration process you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else.
