Sacramento Running Association is not responsible for transactions conducted outside of the official Race Roster transfer system. To protect yourself from scams, complete all transfers and payments through Race Roster only. Do not send money directly to another individual or use payment methods outside of the official transfer process.

Deferral Steps:

  1. Do NOT Check-in in 2026: If you are registered with a “Worry Free” Gold Entry and would like to defer to the 2027 marathon, you do NOT need to notify us — simply, do NOT pick up your marathon bib at the expo.
  2. Check email to receive Deferral Code: ALL “Worry-Free” Gold Entry holders who do not pick up their bib in 2026 will be emailed a DEFERRAL CODE, by the end of December 2026.
  3. RE-REGISTER for 2027: You MUST RE-REGISTER yourself for the 2027 CIM with your deferral code by June 1, 2027 to be registered to run in the 2027 race.
    • Note: This is a one-time deferral, you cannot again defer (or transfer) your registration again the following year.
    • If you do NOT redeem your deferral code to re-register yourself for 2027 CIM, you will lose your deferral.
