Find Your Pace Group

Looking to run with a group on race day? CIM’s pace teams are organized around Boston Qualifying (BQ) standards, with additional pace groups between and beyond those standards to accommodate a range of goal finish times.

Choose the pace group that best aligns with your goal time, and visit our Pace Team page to learn more.

Sweep Runner & Start Time Information

The CIM mass start begins at 7:00 a.m. Sweep runners will cross the starting line at 7:30 a.m., following the departure of the final pace group. CIM operates on a six-hour course time limit, with the finish line closing at 1:30 p.m.

Getting to the Start Line

Runners may not drive themselves or be dropped off near the start area. Road closures will prevent access to the start line, and there is no designated drop-off zone for runners. All runners must use one of CIM’s official transportation options to reach the start. Please plan ahead to avoid risking a missed start.

Please note that gear check is not available at the start line. Gear check is available at the CIM Expo or at Bus Loading Location A on race morning.
